The website www.isabelleweirart.com (the "Site") is operated by Isabelle Weir, an artist trading as a sole trader, based in Somerset, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our", the "Owner"). For any communication regarding these Terms & Conditions, please contact us via the contact form available on the Site, which is our official contact channel. By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

The Site is primarily informational and serves as an artist's portfolio. Through the Site, Isabelle Weir:
• showcases a portfolio of paintings, drawings and etchings (portraiture, landscapes, figurative work, still life);
• provides information about exhibitions, events and painting workshops;
• allows visitors to enquire about purchasing available artworks and commissioning bespoke work via the contact form;
• allows visitors to sign up to a newsletter. The Site does not include an online checkout or payment system. It is not possible to complete a purchase, make a payment or conclude a contract directly through the Site. All requests to purchase artwork, commission work, or attend a workshop are handled directly (by email, the contact form, or another agreed channel) between you and Isabelle Weir. -
When using the Site, you agree to:
• provide truthful, accurate and up-to-date information when completing any form (contact or newsletter sign-up);
• not use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
• not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems, data or restricted areas of the Site;
• not introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code;
• not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to collect content from the Site without our prior written consent.
The Site is intended for use by adults or, if you are a minor, with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. -
Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site (including, without limitation, images of artworks, photographs, text, logos, graphics and video material) is owned by Isabelle Weir and is protected by applicable UK and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or use commercially, in whole or in part, any content from the Site without the prior written consent of Isabelle Weir, except for ordinary browsing of the Site and sharing via the social features provided, with appropriate attribution.
The sale or physical delivery of an original artwork does not, unless otherwise agreed in writing, transfer copyright or reproduction rights in the artwork, which remain with the artist under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK). -
Artworks featured in the gallery may be available for purchase. Requests to purchase or commission work (portraits, landscapes, still life, figurative work or bespoke pieces) should be made via the contact form on the Site or by email.
Following your enquiry, specific details (final price, timescales, payment method, deposit, delivery or collection arrangements, and any revisions) will be agreed directly with Isabelle Weir outside of the Site, typically by email.
A sale or commission contract is only formed once these terms have been confirmed in writing by both parties, not simply by submitting the contact form.
5.1 Indicative pricing Commissions
Typically range in price from £175 to £6,500, depending on size, complexity, medium and requested timescale. Prices referenced on the Site are indicative only and do not constitute a binding offer; a final quote will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
5.2 Deposits and cancellations
For bespoke commissions, a non-refundable deposit may be required to confirm the commission, on terms to be agreed individually before work begins. If you cancel a commission after work has begun, any deposit paid will not be refunded, unless otherwise agreed.
5.3 Right to cancel (consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, UK consumers generally have a 14-day right to cancel distance purchases. This right does not apply, however, to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (such as bespoke commissions), for which the right to cancel is excluded under applicable law.
For the purchase of existing, non-personalised artworks, any applicable cancellation rights will be confirmed when your order is confirmed.
5.4 Shipping and delivery
Shipping arrangements, timescales, costs, or studio collection options will be agreed individually with you. Risk of loss or damage to the artwork in transit will be addressed by specific agreement between the parties at the point of sale. -
Information about workshops, exhibitions and events published on the Site is provided for informational purposes. Booking and payment for workshops take place via the channels specified at the time (e.g. email, external booking forms) and are subject to the specific terms communicated at the time of booking, including any cancellation or refund policy. Isabelle Weir reserves the right to change the date, venue, or cancel an event or workshop due to circumstances beyond her control or insufficient bookings, and will notify participants promptly.
